Nagasaki is an old trading port town with a world cultural heritage, two hours one way from Fukuoka. Trade with the Netherlands began in the 1600s. Reclaimed land Dejima is that historic place. The Glover House, a World Cultural Heritage site, is also a historical site of the trading port. The Catholic Church is also famous for its influence. Oura Catholic Church and Urakami Church are world cultural heritage sites. Peace Park is a negative ruin, but now it is a standard tourist destination that many students visit.
