Stretching 3.6 km along the Japan Sea and Amanohashidate Bay, this masterpiece of nature has been formed by coastal sedimentation, adorned with around 8,000 pine trees. Admire white sandy beaches to the east and west – a truly unique natural landscape. See how the shape resembles a bridge reaching towards the sky, giving it the name “Amanohashidate” or Heaven's Bridge. Soak in pure natural beauty and ocean views of the islands. If you wish, take a cable car to Mt. Monju to behold Amanohashidate from an observation deck at your expense. What people are saying about Nagano

I enjoyed the free time around the temple and local shops to try some local apple pies. , The organised lunch was delicious and in a spacious relaxed setting. Sake tasting was good got to try lots of different varieties. The transport very comfortable. The walk to the snow monkeys whilst long was picturesque. The monkey experience was fantastic you can get up very close and we had plenty of time there even though we were the last to get there. This day was so relaxing the guides were super helpful and friendly.

The tour was very well planned, organized, and executed. Regardless of slight rain, the trip was amazing! You get the best of all: local experience, cultural submersion, educational discoveries, physical exercise, and of course - the MONKEYS! One of the best tours, and the BEST tour guide Kevin. The review is largely due to his humor, knowledge and ability to entertain large groups, including kids. 10 out of 10!

It was a great experience for us which we can only recommend to all fellow tourists. Our guides Joyce and Endo did a great job in providing us with information, facts, (food) tipps and more in a friendly and helpful way including some jokes. To anyone who‘s unsure in booking this trip we can only say you will miss a great tour.

Great trip with a very nice team ( Jens and Kevin). We enjoyed it all - monkeys, shrines, sake tasting, great lunch, comfortable bus and fellow travelers. Please be aware that to see monkeys you’ll need to take a 1.8km uphill hike. Would strongly recommend renting boots at the base as it could get slippery and wet.

The day trip was very well planned. The guide also had a lot of interesting information about the respective stops and also took the time to answer questions. The pickup and return transfer went smoothly. The restaurant for lunch was excellent. All in all, recommended.
