Full description

Get to know Fiji beyond the resorts and beaches. Your tour begins with pickup from your hotel. Begin the scenic drive and stop at a local school. During the 30 minute stop, you can talk to the local students and take pictures and donate school supplies if you would like. 

Next, you will visit Lawai Pottery Village for a tour around the village. You will be greeted with a kava welcome ceremony and entertainment from the villagers — a rich cultural experience and unique opportunity to see the village lifestyle and Fijian traditions. 

Head to the Kula Eco Park for a guided tour of the fijis largest captive breeding center for Fiji’s rare Crested Iguanas. Wander around wooden walkways through the pristine coastal forest, while your guide points out Fiji’s unique plants and animals in the marine display and animal habitats. Observe tropical animals like parrots, iguanas, fruit bats, fruit doves, turtles and more. You will then enjoy the scenic drive back to your hotel where your tour will end.

We very much enjoyed our trip. Our excellent guide Anand, was interesting, informative & helpful. As we were only two people on the tour, he gave us some flexibility on how we spent the day. He also planned the day well, so we did or dune walk before it got too hot. We got a lot out our day trip.

kindness and patience of the guide walk in the dunes of sigatoka exchanges with the guide the visit to the animal park was a little disappointing, but still enjoyable (be careful the entrance fee is 70 Fijian dollars and not 50 dollars announced. the guide Anand is really lovely and provides a lot of information about the country
