Excellent history lesson! Cool old ships and great programs on whaling. Oceanus exhibit is spectacular! Gentleman in the Cooper shed was great!! Prices for drinks & snacks in the Tavern are ridiculous. There was a guy using a power tool on a big beam project close to a little stage. Couldn’t hear the pirate show at all with him using the power tool. Overall fun day & would recommend!

I was very impressed with the facility. However, we obviously came during the off season because there was a lack of reenactors throughout and we even had one chase us out of a building so he could go to lunch. What could have been a fascinating, learning experience turned into so-so.

All the workers were nice and knowledgeable. It’s nice to walk around at your own pace. The views are great.

I liked walking around on the old ships. I also liked the demonstration of the printing press.
