Full description

Benefit from pickup at your hotel or the cruise ship port of Mykonos, and then experience the cosmopolitan lifestyle and jet set vibe of one of the most famous islands of the Aegean. Venture beyond the stylish bars and boutiques, and discover a more traditional way of life.

Experience first-hand the true beauty of Mykonos Town, and travel back in time on an enchanting stroll. Start by moving along the coastal road to Manto Square, famous for its monument of the heroine of the Greek War of Independence, Manto Mavrogenous.

Next, go into the district of Matogianni and window shop the stores full of famous fashion brands. Pass the former home of the mother of Manto Mavrogenous, along with the Maritime Museum and Three Wells monument outside the famous Astra bar. After, go to the traditional Gioras bakery for a treat and refreshment. Head towards the 5 windmills that still stand proudly as a local attraction even after they stopped functioning as working mills.

Venture down the narrow paths to the castle of the Chora and enter the Scarpa area, where you will see the houses of Little Venice jutting out across the water. Visit the elaborate church of Panagia Paraportiani and experience one of the most famous architectural structures in Greece. Go to the Folklore Museum (entrance fee not included), located in a former captain's house. Then, head back to your starting point, and pass the famous church of Agios Nikolaos before the drive back to your original meeting point.

Stephanie was both informative and helpful throughout the tour. She has an extensive knowledge of the area and has provided me with great advice from places to see, dining, hire and everything in between. Her infectious charisma made the tour so personal and enjoyable and I could not ask for a better guide! I will definitely be back and recommend highly to get Stephanie again! She is the best! Thank you so much Stephanie! Loved every minute of it ❤️

This was a great little tour and Stephanie was lovely. She was very knowledgeable and allowed us to take a detour we wanted. She took some beautiful photos of us (for us) and even showed us where to buy a lovely necklace she had on (of the Mykonos windmill). Overall a great tour of a lovely island.

We had a wonderful time walking and talking on our tour. Learned so much. Our guide Stephanie was so knowledgeable and sweet. Went to one of the oldest bakeries in town. Loved it. Would highly recommend this tour. It's not to easy to get around so having a tour guide was very helpful
