See other monuments in the urban area, including the Theater of Delos. Take a walk along the main street to the market and the sanctuary zone. Here you’ll find the Stoa of Phillipe, the Propylaia, the Colossus of the Naxians and the Temple of Apollo. Visit the archeological museum and see exhibits on the island’s major historical periods. Best option

The only real disadvantage of the evening tour is that it's slightly shorter than ideal. In other words, you've got around 100 minutes at the island. It's enough to see the main stuff and the museum but not quite enough to go further afield. This drawback is outweighed by the advantages: 1. Less people, less crowded. The morning tour is armageddon. The evening tour definitely feels more relaxed. 2. Less hot. The late morning to midday sun can be a bit of a scorcher. The evening is way more pleasant. 3. Better light for photography. More atmospheric. So, I'd go for the evening option.

Must see archaeological site, so much history and stunning!

Easy to book, check in and every step is being clarified before boarding the boat tour to the Delos Island. The tour guide was knowledgeable and allowed us time to explore and explained so much in details. however, at the end when there was time for us to explore ourselves, it was all a bit lost, no one told us what time we need to be back at the pier, and whether there were name checks to make sure everyone is back on, and so i saw so many people in fear of being left behind, they would rather cut short the exploring and stood and waited by the boat. Something needs to be done better to make sure everyone gets to spend as much time as they can on the island to take photos and check everything out. I wished there is also an option to reserve online and pay at the ticket booth, as many tourists may have sufficient cash fund with them, rather than using a non Euro currency card to pay which will incur an additional fee, which is not ideal.

We went on the evening tour. I enjoyed the late afternoon in Delos. An amazing place I would recommend it for sure. The tour guide was knowledgeable and spoke great English and really brought the place alive. The tour was a bit rushed and we did not have time to visit the museum or book store. Also check the winds. It was a very windy day 35 mph winds and a few people got sick on the ride back to Mykonos. I was grateful we had taken Dramamine!
