The tour itself was short (one hour and thirty minutes). The ship didn't get clearance for some reason so we were late to the excursion. The lady was very knowledgeable and had a lot of good information. There was a lot of things to see after the tour was over. I spent another hour on the island. The boat leaves at 1 and 2pm.

We booked this amazing tour from Delos Travels to see the ruins located on Delos, the island near Mykonos. Our guide Athena is very knowledgeable on the history of the ruins and about this Greek island of Delos - she pointed out things that we would not have known just walking around on our own... plus: she was one among other archaeologists who excavated and studied some of the ruins, how cool is that :) We came from a cruise with very limited time to further explore the vastness of the area but we surely covered a lot of ground and finished such an impressive tour of these ruins that date back to 2500 BC !!

Good: Our guide was an educated Archaeologist, who gave us a thorough understanding of not only the site, but the background of how Delos came to be. She was one of the best guides we have ever had. The arrangements were all easy to execute and understand, and the boat rides were enjoyable. Bad: We were a little late leaving for Delos, around 30 minutes. We still got back in time to eat port side in Mykonos, walk the streets, and see the Windmills. We did not walk up the hill to the 2 temples, but there is time to do them on your own if you want.
