Our host, Martina, was very welcoming and so funny, she kept everybody really engaged with the class and had a fantastic breadth of knowledge about Mykonian cuisine and cooking in general. We had so much fun and genuinely learned a great deal about the ingredients and cooking processes and Greek culinary traditions. The assistant cook was also really friendly and helpful, and kept us well-watered with good wine. All the food we made was beyond delicious, and sitting down at the end to eat together was lovely, with everybody chatting and sharing anecdotes. Obligatory mention for the sheer beauty of the venue, too; the kitchen and all the furnishings/decor indoors and out made for such a cosy and relaxing setting. Absolutely deserving of 5*, the whole team at Mykonian Farm & Spiti should be so proud of the work they do and the joy they provide their customers. Thank you very much, Teta and Co. :)

Full description

Experience the traditional way of life on Mykonos and learn about its culture and cuisine on this 6-hour program. Teta, your hostess and chef, will provide tips and show you cooking methods that have made Mykonos cuisine so popular. Enjoy some local snack favorites such as dakos with kopanisti cheese and tomato, louza (sun dried pork fillets), wine and Cretan raki. Enjoy her lovely home and visit her organic vegetable garden. Head to the kitchen, where you’ll make tzatziki and spinach pie, stuffed peppers and tomatoes, beef with orzo and more. You’ll be guided through the whole procedure, and afterwards have a chance to taste what you’ve prepared.

  • Hotel pickup and drop-off (most areas of Mykonos are covered, save for some remote places like Elia, Kalafatis, Agrari, Panormos, Super Paradise, Paradise, Kanalia, or from remote villas, apartments or houses which incur a 10 EUR per person roundtrip fee payable in cash on the spot to the driver)

Pickup included

Send your preferred meeting point and location by 3:00 pm the day before the tour. If you don't, pick-up is not guaranteed. Meeting points can be hotels anywhere on the island, the old port or the new port. The information necessary is either the hotel name or the name of the cruise ship you are arriving with. For any other accommodation, send a google map location to the local supplier, or let them know the name of a nearby hotel. Any delay on behalf of the client (your ride will only wait up to 15 minutes) affects the transfer schedule and disrupts the smooth conduct of the tour/activity. For nameless accommodations, apartments, houses, or villas, the company will set the most convenient location for the pickup or may apply an extra cost.
