Auf der Fahrt zur Pagode haben wir sehr viele Informationen bekommen. Nach über einer halben Stunde wurde es schwer zu folgen, es war zwar interessant, aber sehr viel Input. Der Guide konnte gut in englisch erzählen, bei Rückfragen wurde es aber schwierig. In der Pagode hatten wir einen strammen Zeitplan und sind teilweise etwas gehetzt. Die Pagode selbst und die Vorführung waren sehr sehenswert. Der Guide kannte den besten Fotospot. Das Mittagessen war wirklich sehr lecker, auf Anfrage haben wir vegetarische Optionen erhalten. Die Bootsfahrt war entspannend, aber nichts besonderes oder spektakuläres. Bootsfahrten sind wegen der beleuchteten Lanternen unserer Erfahrung nach eher am Abend zu empfehlen.

Our guide was so lovely and very knowledgeable. my Son is impressive but it was overcrowded and made it challenging to look around. The included boat ride was ok, but nothing special. It’s a noisy boat and the ride is outside of the ancient part of town, there’s not much to look at and then you get off just as it’s about to get interesting.

Nice trip, the advantage was that I could explore the complex on my own. That gives you much more time to walk around instead of following a guide. The boat trip at the end was not much, but it is positive that you then have a cooling breeze on the water. Much needed in these regions!
