Nice walking tour....well timed to see changing of horses at palace.
Guide did a great job keeping the group moving and informing along the way. She timed our arrival at the palace and positioned us for optimal photos. Also good job skipping the line at the Churchill war rooms. Would have liked her sign/flag to match the tour name or say "get your guide".
Was ok , seats not comfortable. Could not hear well explanation
Website not clear one way trip versus round trip . Not easy information on booking to verify and correct if necessary. However person at Greenwich desk very helpful and effective to correct what Internet did not do . Thanks a lot . For that 4 stars otherwise it would have been 2
A real feel for what life must have been like living below ground
What I liked most about the tour was getting as feel for life below ground while bombing was happening above. How did they know what life looked like 'out there.' As an American, I was able to put a timeline on why it took us so long to join the fight.
Wonderful experience and good value for money
Loved this experience. This was a pleasant wedding anniversary surprise for my wife and she loved every minute of it,( considering she is not usually keen on the slow moving boats) so did I. I highly recommend this informative and unique experience.
A view of London from its ancient main artery.
The tour gave us a fine comprehensive picture of vibrant London, ancient and modern. The commentary, in an authentic dialect, was informative and amusing. Fine sunny weather was a bonus. Excellent!
