Visit the National Museum of Capodimonte, located on a hilltop in Naples from which you can admire the incredible views over the city and the sea. Discover how the palace began its long royal connection in the 18th-century as a hunting lodge to King Charles, the Bourbon king of Naples and Sicily. As you stroll through the museum, admire the stunning interiors which were designed by Charles of Bourbon. These rooms were the former residence of the Bourbon family and now houses the family’s art collection, including masterpieces by Titian, Parmigianino, Carracci, Borgia, and d’Avalos. Head to the Porcelain Gallery on the 2nd and the 3rd floors and see the famous porcelain cabinet in the Royal Apartments.
