Turin: Museum of Eastern Art Guided Visit with Ticket

2. Turin: Museum of Eastern Art Guided Visit with Ticket

The guided tour of the Mao is divided into two distinct routes. The first examines the works conserved in the China and Japan Galleries: the tour starts with the art objects of ancient China, characterised by Neolithic pottery, ritual bronzes, lacquers and terracottas - dating from the Neolithic period to the 10th century Ad - and continues in the evocative gallery dedicated to Japan, which presents wooden statues of Buddhist inspiration, exceptional screens, samurai armour and paintings on vertical scrolls and polychrome woodcuts known as ukiyo-e, 'images of the floating world'. The second itinerary tackles the other three Galleries. The tour starts with Indian art, with Buddhist and Hindu statuary of varying date, and continues through South East Asia. In the gallery dedicated to the Himalayan Region, works of Tibetan Buddhist art range from wood and metal sculptures to tempera paintings and precious carved and painted wooden covers. The tour ends in the Gallery of the Islamic Countries of Asia, featuring a rich collection of pottery and tiles and a valuable collection of bronzes, manuscripts and fine textiles.

The Torino Piemonte card is the perfect way to visit practically all the museums of beautiful Turin. Certainly one of the cities of Italy with excellent care for museums, indeed I have never found all the palaces and museums so well explained, clean and even at the forefront with technology. Beautiful Turin!

The card made the Torino experience even. Better. We saved a lot of money already with the Egyptian museum, but we found a lot of other activities as well .

It allows you to visit all the museums for 2 days, it is worthwhile if you plan to visit at least 3. Also there is a discount for the Mole lift

The card is a great option if you want to see the museums on the city as they were almost all included and you also had discounts.

Beautiful city with so many things to see. Free entry with the Torino card! Great solution! Definitely to be redone!
