You have the option to tour on your own, or with a guide for added information. Explore the permanent collection, temporary collection, or both. Whichever option you choose, you will get time to admire the beautiful 16th-century Palacio de Villalón, a key example of the city’s Renaissance architecture. The palace was built over the remains of the Roman city, within the old Moorish quarter of Málaga, and restoration focused on the recovery of its original layout, combined with newly built areas that co-exist in an understated manner. Arranged over 2 floors around a central courtyard, surrounded by arcaded galleries, particularly notable elements are the carved wooden ceilings and supporting fretwork in the principal rooms, where a number of 17th-century Spanish paintings are on display. Adjoining the palace are various new buildings designed in a contemporary style to house the permanent and temporary exhibitions. A very varied treasure hunt that takes you through the entire old town of Malaga. The puzzles were all different and of varying levels of difficulty. I did the tour with my 4-year-old son and he was able to participate really well: solving some of the puzzles, navigating, etc. You also get to see hidden corners and learn something about history. It was a really great experience and I highly recommend it. The price is justified and is cheaper per person if there are more participants. After a short introduction by the guide, you are completely on your own. It took us 2:45 hours without a long break.

We upgraded and extended our ticket by one day and did the 1 hour boat trip and visited the Musical Instruments Museum and saw the 1 hour Flamenco Show there which was excellent. Would recommend

Still interesting. But doesn't start early enough and doesn't finish late enough.

It was very nice and everyone should do a city tour like this.

with the torrid heat of Malaga, the bus could be covered.
