Fantastic day out with a guide who really understood the local area. This is quite a long day with quite a lot of travel into the desert so do be prepared for a lot of travel. During our time in Oman we wanted to see some of the desert, this was an excellent way of doing this and we got to do some of the Dune bashing, visit the Bedouin camp and go swimming at the Wadi where we also had lunch. Throughout this all the guide, told us a lot of stories about the country. A long day, with a lot of driving but very highly recommended for a visit to Oman.

I really enjoyed the tour and the guide was great. Beautiful locations we visited! Had lots of fun. My biggest issue was that I wasn’t informed before going on the the tour that in order to swim at Wadi we had to have wetsuits or shorts and a T-shirt (no bikinis or one piece bathing suits) which meant i either had to pay to rent one or not swim. I would’ve be totally fine wearing this I just was not informed prior that this would be required, so if you’re reading this make sure you bring something so you can swim! I was disappointed not to swim but didn’t want to hire a wetsuit to swim for half an hour when I’d already paid for the tour and had a one piece bathing suit with me

Great day trip! Our guide Ahmed was brilliant.. very knowledgeable, funny and helpful and made our trip really interesting. Desert drive was fun, and the wadi was beautiful we had a lovely swim! Long drive, but we expected this so no problem, also car was very comfy. Lots of stops for tea/toilet. Lunch was delicious and local and plenty of it. Really enjoyed our day thank you! Recommend taking some snacks, money for souvenirs and also clothes to swim in, especially women need to be fully covered. Ps. Thank you Ahmed for your restaurant recommendations, Turkish house was delicious!!
