This was one of the most beautiful natural sites I’ve visited! As ever, our guides (Rashid and Mahmoud) were friendly and well organised, and gave us an opportunity to purchase anything we might need like swimshoes. Wadi shab is truly stunning. Just bear in mind that you have to be a fairly confident swimmer, as the water is 8m deep in parts - but if you’re confident swimming 20 meters unassisted you’ll be fine. Some of the rocks can be very slippery so just take your time, but our guides made sure to help everyone and Mahmoud especially made a lot of effort to get good pictures for us!

Plus: We enjoyed swimming in the river/ wadi and getting into the cave. Amazing views. Exciting. Also lunch was nice. Guide was friendly. Improvements: Would be better to give visitors more information to ensure people have the right clothes and shoes, for instance: to wear hiking sandals for the hike (not hiking shoes, nor water shoes), since you have to cross several parts of the river and will get wet, but still you need traction on your footwear.

I highly recommend this tour. It was well organised and smooth, and our guides (Rashid and Mahmoud) were responsive and punctual throughout, and both have a great sense of humour! The fort was amazing and offered beautiful views of the city. I learnt a lot about the defensive mechanisms of the fort and old Omani customs. Plus, exploring the markets was a perfect way to do some souvenir shopping!

The tour was beautiful with historical city of Nizwa and mountains of Jabel Akhdar. The guide Mr Muataz is very nice, knowledgeable and explained a lot of facts about Oman history and culture. Great driving also. A must do when visiting Oman!

It's a very nice tour to know more about the culture and history of Oman. The itinerary and food were great and my guide, Mahmood, which was also my guide in Wadi Shab, is the best.
