Full description
Visit 3 of Venice’s islands — Murano, Torcello, and Burano — by boat with a maximum group size of 40. Enjoy guided walking tours on each island with extra free time to explore each one.  Choose either St. Mark’s Basilica or Santa Lucia Train Station as your starting point. Then, hop onboard and enjoy your cruise to your first stop, Murano.  Exploring the Venetian Lagoon by boat will for sure provide you with some unforgettable views. Relax with some commentary as you cruise.  See up-close how Murano’s famous glassware is crafted with a glassblowing demonstration at an artisanal workshop. Then, enjoy a 20-minute guided tour of Murano, before spending some free time at the Basilica of Santa Maria and San Donato.  Cruise to the island of Torcello next, a shorter stop on your trip. Choose from either free time or a guided tour here.  If you're hungry, grab a bite at the "best spot in town", as recommended by your guide. Alternatively, follow your guide to the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and head up the bell tower on your own for great views over the island of Burano. Next, head over to the island of Burano itself, a real crowd-pleaser. Make all your Instagram followers jealous with its striking multi-colored houses.  Try out a lace demonstration if you fancy it, or grab a bite to eat in one of the many delightful local restaurants. Be sure to taste the local delicacy — delicious "Bussolà" cookies — in your free time.  Then, hop back on the boat and be dropped at either St. Mark’s Basilica or Santa Lucia Train Station to conclude the trip.

The trip is pricey but good if you want to avoid the long queues for the water bus to go from Murano to Burano. Alice our guide was very knowledgeable. We arrived on Murano and went straight to a glass blowing factory. It was interesting but not so spectacular. You then get taken to the showrooms with a chance to buy some glass. This took up half of the time left to look around. Torcello- very small and quiet- there is a very original church there which is interesting to religious enthusiasts. Burano is by far the prettiest islsnd wirh ample time for a snack and look around.

Superb! It is the perfect good plan to visit the 3 islands in one day. The stage on Murano is short if one chooses to watch the glassblower demonstration (which is very impressive) after there is little time left to visit the island. In Torcello we have 1 hour to eat and visit, so there is no need to hang around. Finally on Burano (our favorite) free time is 1h30 and we have plenty of time to visit. The cruise is wonderful and the Italian guide who commented on the excursion speaks English that is totally understandable for French people :)

We basically liked the tour. But we almost missed the ship. The boarding point was marked with a "G" on the map. However, this section of the promenade was several hundred meters away from the actual launch site. We ran back almost the entire promenade and asked everywhere what the landing stage could be. Ultimately, it was not far from St. Mark's Square. St. Mark's Square should have been clearly marked as a landmark on the map! We were totally mischievous and out of breath on the ship. There is an urgent need for action to better mark the landing stage on the map !!!
