An excellent trip to take outside Munich! My mom and I had such a wonderful guide, Pedro, who was so fun and gave great commentary and always provided clear instructions for all of us to make sure we were happy and safe. The lunch that was recommended and organized was delicious and the sights even while driving were amazing! A couple of small things I would change (which definitely did not make the trip bad in ANY way, but things I want to add so people are aware). Time at each location is pretty tight, so there wasn’t really lots of time to take a stroll through the town or go shopping for more than 10-20 ish minutes (I am big on souvenirs). There is a long and steep hike to get to the second castle so you need to be very prepared for this 30 minute uphill walk and plan your visit so you leave time for other things. We found ourselves needing to speed through souvenir shopping and had to pass over snack breaks. Nonetheless, we had an excellent time and will happily do it again
Such a great day! The Linderhof palace is absolutely unique: romantic, Rococo style, gorgeous! The Neuschwanstein is a fairytale! No wonder Disney decided to bring it to Disneyland! Alberto our guide was exceptional; kind, knowledgeable, friendly…. Our driver was very careful taking and bringing us back safely. To all of them our most sincere thanks!!! It was a day not to forget.
