Full description
In the seclusion of the mountains, King Ludwig II of Bavaria built 2 of his dream-castles: Neuschwanstein and Linderhof.

This trip from Munich in a luxury air-conditioned tour-bus will allow you to visit these two important examples of western architecture. Neuschwanstein Castle, in its stunning position in the foothills of the Alps, is also one of the most impressive sights in Germany. Here you will have around 4 hours to explore comfortably every fascinating detail.

Linderhof is the only castle that Ludwig the II managed to complete. Around noon you will take a rest at Hohenschwangau Castle, Ludwig's childhood home, for lunch (not included).

In addition, you will stop for a short time in Oberammergau, for the opportunity to photograph this picturesque little town and its environs, and to do a little shopping.

What a fantastic tour! The comfortable bus was waiting for us at the meeting spot. (Sit up top for the best views.) Our guide gave us great information as we passed sights & towns along the way. It was a perfect sunny day so the scenery was incredible. All stores in Oberammergau were closed because it was a Sunday, but we were able to walk the streets, see the gorgeous paintings on the houses & chat with locals who were sitting outside in the cafes. Once we got to Neuschwanstein we had lunch outside at Muller Cafe (amazing) before climbing up to the castle. It is VERY important that you heed to advice about the climb up! Only the carriage rides were running and the lines were very long. We walked up in about 25 min. It is taxing, even for those in good shape, but you will see a waterfall, among other pretty views. You cannot take pictures in the castle but it is a great tour. And to think only 30% was every finished!

Really enjoyed the tour. We saw many landscapes and the castles were amazing. It worth for sure! Remember you can drink a coffee at a really nice price outside Neuschwanstein castle and you get free a souvenir. Just go up there and enjoy. Also go inside the castle! It worths the view!

The main reason i booked this tour was to visit Neuschwanstein Castle. Because of Corona virus neither we were to able to enter the castle nor we were able to visit to the main gate. We were shown the Castle from the Busstop which is quite far. I was disappointed with the travel.
