Enjoy a beautiful evening of choir singing in the heart of Munich’s city palace, available on Saturday evenings. As you arrive at the palace, take in the splendor of the location where princes, dukes, and kings of Bavaria once inhabited. Get comfortable in your seat as you’re surrounded by art collections and treasury. Then, as the choir begins, your ears will be treated to the sounds of the Munic Philharmonics and the Residenz Soloists, vocalizing in the Hofkapelle. As the concert continues, the trained ear will recognize pieces by classical Baroque artists, Bach, Vivaldi, Handel, Mozart, and Haydn. Conclude the evening feeling the magic of the palace and the echoing choir with you.

My friends and I enjoyed this experience. It was a great way to start our trip in Munich. We went to the Palace museum the next day as well, and were even more glad that we had done this the night before. Getting to see the chapel in use and all lit up was a treat, especially when comparing to how we saw it in the day. I would recommend it.
