Full description
Meet your guide at your hotel and travel by public transport to Nymphenburg Pace. Upon arrival, take a guided tour of the stunning Baroque and Rococo interiors and learn about the history of the building and its secrets. Your guide will cover the history of the rulers of Bavaria from Max Emmanuel's victories against the Turks, to the scandalous Gallery of Beauties of Ludwig I. After the tour, enjoy some free time to explore the splendid rooms at your own pace.

Following this, wander through the large gardens with your guide. See the wonderful statues and fountains and visit the famous garden palaces such as the Amalienburg, a hunting lodge with its own hall of mirrors, and the Badenburg with its 18th-century swimming pool. For an optional but truly unforgettable experience, there is also a possibility of hiring a Venetian gondola for a romantic cruise up the main canal of the gardens. After the walking, you can either enjoy a beer at a nearby beer garden, or make your way back to your hotel.
