The Baroque Court Chapel of the Wittelsbach family was once the wedding chapel of Ludwig I. It is one of the jewels of the Munich Residenz. Here Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart performed frequently with his early piano concertos and the Missa brevis. The Court Chapel itself is primarily known for its wonderful acoustics. The concert was great, loved it, but the dinner was a serious disappointment, especially given the price (approximately $98.00 per person). We thought we were eating as a group, but no, it was basically just a dinner reservation to Zum Franciskaner where we were not shown a menu but were automatically served an entree of sauerkraut, potato dumplings, boiled pork and beer. It looked much like the advertised dinner special that cost approximately €16. Do not book the dinner unless you like the food listed above for that price.
