It was very easy, with a voucher at the airport to the EH - exchange it for a ticket and take the S1 to the main station! From there you have all possibilities to explore Munich! There were five of us and the CityCard has already paid off for the two transfers to the airport!

The card at the price is great if you are on a Munich weekend and want to experience a lot. Only the DB counter at the airport was not manned as there are different opening times due to Corona. These opening times were not adhered to either, so that we had to pick up the CARD at the main train station.

The ticket gives you good flexibility traveling around Munich without having to worry about buying single tickets every time you use public transport. A major downside is that you are required to print of the voucher. The process of exchanging the GYG voucher took about 10 minutes because a copy needed to be made. When a mobile voucher is accepted this would be 5 stars.
