Munich City: Marienplatz and English Garden Walking Tour

Claudia was amazing, very informative and knowledgeable! We were exceptionally lucky to be the only two in the group. She took us to many places we would not have seen otherwise.

Memorable. Our Irish guide Noel provided a tour that was informative, fascinating and entertaining- everything you could ask for on a guided tour. Apart from all the factual information he gave us his entertaining anecdotes kept my wife and myself interested and amused on a swelteringly hot day. Having lived in Munich for around twenty years he has a wealth of background knowledge to call on and he incorporates this into his detailed accounts of the history of Munich, Bavaria and the royal families. He welcomes questions and I imagine our group experience is the same as all the others he takes round in that he takes time to ensure that everyone gets involved and feels included. At the conclusion of our tour my wife and I bumped into him at Marienplatz as we were struggling with our city map searching for a route to the Alte Pinakothek. Noel escorted us to the U- Bahn and ensured we caught the right train. Overall a memorable trip with a memorable guide. Jim and Claudia Murray.
