There’s sign to the express bus and it was not hard to find it. Someone in the reviews stated it was cheaper to buy from the bus driver. However, it cost me less to buy on this website. I did ask the bus driver how much for 3 adults, one 9 yo and one 13 yo. So maybe you can do the research and decide what’s the best way.

Got on the bus right after we existed the terminal, arrived at the main train station on time, friendly bus driver. we accidently left our passport on the bus, and the driver was able to find the small bag and kept with him after we contacted the bus operating company. We went back to the same station after two hours and got our passport back. Wonderful service from the driver.

The bus trip was great. It dropped me off right in the heart of Munich about half a block from my hotel. The signage in the airport for the actual pick up location could have been more prominent and the agent at the info desk didn't seem to know where to send me.
