Marcin was our tour guide and was very knowledgeable about the history behind Dachau along with other concentration camps as well. There was so much information, but he provided highlights that were significant to events that happened within Dachau. I highly recommend the tour if you want to know more about what happened there. The audio tour would not give you the rich history that was provided by the tour guide.

I completely recommend the full day tour. If a half day tour exists, it would feel rushed and important knowledge would not be conveyed. Expect an emotionally tiring day. The tour guide (Marcin) did an incredible job of taking the group through the camp and he explained details in an educational way. He was passionate about delivering knowledge with the goal of a similar situation never happening again.

Marcin is such a wonderful and experienced guide - so knowledgeable and compassionate about a subject matter that is so very difficult to approach. Even though it was a relative long walkthrough with minimal breaks, we never felt bored or lost. This is a great tour for history amateurs and scholars alike. We've been to Auschwitz previously and have honestly never heard of Dachau prior to coming to Munich, but we're so glad we took this tour and that we had Marcin as our guide. Definitely a must-do!
