This isca must see if you're visiting munich. Elisabeth was our guide and she had great stories and history and interesting tidbits to share. The drive is just beautiful and our driver was also excellent. I would do this again but doubt I'd ever come back to Munich. 5 stars for this tour

Everything was fine except we didn't have a good weather. One suggestion we went first to eagle nest which was very cloudy and we didn'table to see anything.. By the time we return it started to clear. We didn"t feel like wasted the money still it is worth. If we go little later it would have been perfect. But we went to the town after. If we go first to the town then to the Eagle nest it would have been perfect. That was guide 's call and judgement. Our guide Ursula was very enthusiastic and gave us lot of information and history which we learned a lot.

The trip to Eagles Nest was a fantastic experience and so worth doing. However, it cost a further €30 each to get the bus up to the actual Eagles Nest which seemed to be a hidden cost. Also we felt rushed at the eagles nest and had an hour at the bottom of the hill where there is only one option for lunch and we would have much preferred to have eaten at the top. Also Ursula was helping to serve in the restaurant which made us think that we were brought down from the mountain early so that we had no choice but to have lunch at the bottom. Also we had only a short amount of time in Obersalzburg and there were numerous options for lunch but we didn’t have enough time here to do that. We would definitely visit these places again but perhaps by hiring a car to have more freedom to spend our time better.
