Leave the big city behind on this scenic cruise along the River Spree to Müggelsee. Sail past the idyllic landscape to the old town of Köpenick, all the way to Berlin’s largest lake, Müggelsee. Beginning at Treptow Harbor, cruise along the scenic River Spree through the green oasis of Berlin. Arrive at Köpenick where the “Captain of Köpenick” stands in front of the town hall. Pass important monuments, including Köpenick Palace. Continue to the largest lake in Berlin, Müggelsee, and enjoy views of Müggelturm as you sail.

Switch off from big city life! The small port is only 30 min from Berlin-Mitte away, some minutes to walk from S-Bahn station Grünau. Parking lots available. The deceleration starts arriving at the garden and sitting on the terrace looking at river Dahme. After a short technical briefing in the electric, license free boats you are ready to experience Berlin by boat being the captain yourself. Go to Treptow, Kreuzberg, Rummelsburg. The access to Müggelsee is allowed. Enjoy swimming - all boats with swimming platform/ ladder. Enjoy having a barbecue aboard! You can bring your food and rent a grill (29 € extra). Dogs are welcome, too! Equipment like life vest, bluetooth radio with 4 loudspeakers, cooling box and ice cubes will be provided.

Depart from Treptow Harbor and leave the hustle and bustle of the big city behind on an exciting 5-hour cruise through Müggelberge. Head to the old town of Köpenick, an area surrounded by idyllic parkland where a statue of the “Captain of Köpenick” stands by the town hall, then continue on towards Berlin’s largest lake – Müggelsee. From the water, enjoy a view of greater and lesser Müggelberge, which boasts over 320 kilometers of forest paths and waterways. At a height of 82 meters, the Müggelturm offers a fascinating panoramic view of the Brandenburg countryside. Continue along the Müggelspree to the New Venice water district, with bridges and canals built in the 1920s, before crossing the Dämeritzsee and proceeding along the Gosen Canal to the Seddinsee and the oldest sports area of Berlin, the Grünau international regatta site. Finally, follow the Spree as the boat returns to Treptow Harbor.

After arraving with public transports or with your own car you get a short instruction. In this instruction we explain the handling of the tortoga motorboat (10 minutes), about the water traffic und help to get your route. After that you are able to start your own water trip. When your trip is finished, you give us back the motorboat and you pay the final invoice for petrol. Dogs are not allowed on our motorboats.

Berlin is the most water-rich major city in Europe. We cycle to the city's biggest lake & unique New Venice: This artificial lovely lagoon & suburb is crossed by several canals connected to the city's main River Spree. The ride shows how green and extensive East Berlin is and how quickly it changes its face: Just a moment ago, GDR socialist housings dreariness, suddenly magnificent buildings in the park, followed by almost rural sections, a green valley, a tiny zoo and much more. Most of the time we drive through parks, forests, along or on the water: The tour includes a 25 minute solar ferry boat passage with great insights and views. During various breaks and at suitable spots you can learn a lot about the history of Berlin & Germany: From the last ice age left many lakes, to the rise of Prussia, WW2, Cold War & finally reunification of Berlin respectively Germany. We return to the city by metro without changes. Ferry boat, metro tickets, use of bikes, helmets, bottle of water & a Berlin souvenir set (our own brand) are included in the price! Note This flat ride is not very strenous, mostly it's even supported by tail wind. The oldest participant was an Australian lady aged 76! However, you should be able to ride a bike of course. In case you want to use an E-Bike please contact us beyond booking! We can provide but number is limited. Total duration is about 4.5-5h, bike distance approx. 33 km/ 20 miles with many refreshing snack breaks. Meeting point is 2 km east of Alexanderplatz / TV Tower.
