What People Are Saying About Mt Titlis
This is definitely a 'must try' experience for all those going to Switzerland. This tour ticked all the right boxes for us. The staff involved in checking us in, the bus driver and our guide Daniela were all very friendly and professional. The bus was big, neat and clean and it was safe, scenic drive through the different Swiss cantons with stops in between for those wishing to use the toilet. The ride up to Mt Titlis is via 2 cable car and the scenery is amazing. The activities at the top are a must try and included in the ticket price. Once at the top, you are refreshed by the open mountain air, the snow and the excitement to experience as much as you can. This tour shows you nature at its very best and combined with the wonderful people, makes for a brilliant experience.
I want sure about paying so much for a tour, but on researching, this is pretty much the same price as the train and lift; so go with the guide! Luzern was a highlight of our trip to Switzerland and obviously Titlis was out of this world, even in summer. Guide was whacky (in a cute Swiss way!) and left the perfect balance of free and guided time. Don't hesitate to pay, if you can afford it; for the convenience and local knowledge it's worth every penny!
Booking this tour was one of the best decisions I made before reaching Switzerland... It was so convenient , we boarded the bus from tourist center near Lucerne station. The guide was really helpful , spoke good English, the bus was comfortable and Mt.titlis with the cable car was just amazing...it was a beautiful sunny day, and there was so much snow at the top..!!! We took some great pictures..!! The tour started and ended promptly at the promised timings. No delay and no hassles...!! Exactly what I wanted..!!! This was a very good experience..!!
Amazing! The guides (Anna, Minu) were fabulous... we left from Zurich to Lucerne - stopped to see the Lion Monument, have lunch and then off to Mount Pilatus and onwards to Mount Titlis. We got to ride on the two cable cars, but the weather did not allow us to go ahead to the Ice Flyer - but we did go across the Cliff Walk Suspension Bridge and Ice Cave. It was cold and snowing! An amazing experience and super safe for little kids too... just pack some warm clothes (gloves and a cap too) with waterproof shoes.
The scenery was breathtaking and Antve was a great guide. You get just over an hour and a half on the mountain top which is just enough time to complete all the activites, but really not enough to soak in the amazing sight. Would be better to have slightly more time on the top!
