Meet up in the small village of Primišlje on the Mrežnica River and get ready for your kayaking adventure as you listen to all the necessary safety instructions. Venture into the wilderness of the upper canyon between Primišlje and Tržič, considered the most beautiful part of the Mrežnica River and ideal for a thrilling kayaking adventure. Paddle your way through a deep and narrow gorge where the sun only enters for a few hours each day and marvel at the spectacular natural light show. Pass cliffs of white rocks and lush vegetation, discover cascading waterfalls, strong freshwater springs and pools of water that are great for swimming in the summer. Get some time to swim and jump at an 8-meter high waterfall before kayaking back to the meeting point in the early afternoon.

Beyond the main tourist attractions, hidden in a rural area, between Rastoke village and Plitvice Lakes National Park is the Mreznica River. In the canyon, dense forest covers the area, surrounded by cliffs where you can reach the waterfalls only by kayak. The source of the river is only 12 km upstream from civilization but it brings clean drinkable water. Surrounded by untouched nature, the easy rapids and calm waterfalls put this river on the world map, marking it the most beautiful river in Europe. Its local name is actually “The waterfall playground”. During this activity, we make several stops which will give you the chance to jump off waterfalls from 1 meter high to 8 meters! For the less adventurous ones, you can swim behind the waterfalls, kayak over them, paddle behind them – the choice is yours. Somewhere halfway, we will make a short picnic break so we definitely recommend bringing sandwiches or snacks, followed by swimming in the emerald green water. What should You wear for the activity? Our guide and trip leader will provide you with all the necessary equipment required for the activity, giving you tips on how to paddle and work as a team to make your trip safe and enjoyable. We will provide you with a tandem sit-on-top inflatable kayak, paddles, buoyancy aid, and helmets. Depending on the time of the year, we provide neoprene wet shoes, neoprene long john wetsuit, and splash jacket for colder weather. We provide a waterproof container for the personal items you want to bring on the water (food, drinks, a camera, personal medicine…). Bring some extra dry clothes to change after the trip. In case you have your old sneakers or water shoes it would be great to bring them and if not, you will get them from us. It’s good to bring a bathing suit, a polyester t-shirt plus a towel because you will be wet at the end! At the finish, our shuttle driver will bring your dry clothes for you to change and transfer you back to the start point/base / parking for refreshments and some chilling with your fellow group participants.

The guides will welcome you at the meeting point where you will get the basic instructions about the trip and all of the equipement. After that we will take you to the starting point at Mrežnica river with our transportation. Once there, you will get equiped and our guides will give you instructions and safety procedure. You will be passing through the most beautiful part of Mrežnica, length of 5 kilometers with abundance of magical places for swimming and recreation. Expect amazing untouched nature, beautiful turquoise water and many waterfalls and jumps on this river which is place Primišlje. Right after the first waterfall where your adventure beginns, you will arrive at the biggest waterfall on the whole river - Milkovića slap. From that one you can test your bravery and do a jump from 5m or 9m high right into the deep refreshing water! Route ends passing by the magical camp on Mrežnica, at the bridge. The program is suitable for children strating from 6 years of age, depending on water level!

On the arrival at Rastoke your guide will give you all the info about the location and you will have 45 min of free to explore the site. After exploring Rastoke you will be handed over into the hands of professional skippers who will transport you with the van to the base camp - starting point for kayaking. (10 min drive) ADVENTURE STARTS: Six stunning travertine waterfalls, crystal clear waters, magnificent canyon, beautiful intact nature, exhilarating cliff jumping, swimming, and paddling. All packed in the four-hour of kayaking. The great thing about the kayaking at Mreznica is that you don’t need any previous kayaking experience. It is so safe, that even the 6-year-olds can join. Still, this kayaking trip is exciting enough even for the more adventurous ones. For example, you can jump off a 9 m (29 ft) high cliff. Although the Mreznica River is close to sometimes crowded Plitvice Lakes, they feel light-years apart. Even though the scenery is equally stunning and the waters are equally emerald. However, not even all Croatians know about this hidden gem in the heartland of Croatia. When your adventure finishes you will have an hour of free time to chill in a hammock at the base camp, chat with all the new people you have met, have a cold beer or just to enjoy the nature a bit more before returning back to the hustle and bustle of Zagreb streets. We are kayaking agency located in wooden house by the river. That is also the beginning of your stage of rafting Mrežnica and kayaking, because we are only 10 meters from the river. We offer an kayaking trip on the most beautiful part of the river Mrežnica. Discover a hidden canyon, magical nature and waterfalls that can only be seen from a kayak. This is a unique opportunity to feel and discover one of the most beautiful rivers in Croatia ho is hidden in the canyon and you can explore her only by kayaking. We offer excursions at 9:30 am and at 2 pm. Before the trip, you need to fill out the forms, get all the equipment, listen to the security speech. After that we lower you into the water. The trip lasts about 3 hours (shorter if it is cold weather and it rains or if you are small group). You'll be able to make amazing memories of this little hidden paradise while jumping, swimming, and pedaling with our guides. You will have the opportunity to jump from the 5 and 8 m high rock, but this is optional. On the trip you take a short break for eating, swimming, taking photos. You get all the equipment and licensed guide from us. After the teip we return you by van to the base.

Embark on an exhilarating whitewater rafting adventure along the upper part of the Mreznica River. Travel through a long row of waterfalls and admire incredible natural pools. Enjoy elements of canyoning, such as natural water slides, jumping from high cliffs, and walking through the canyon. When you arrive, you will receive safety gear (and neoprene suits, if necessary), and paddling instructions. Then we will drive you to the start. We will pass waterfalls sometimes on natural water slides, sometimes by jumping into the lower pool or walking around the cascade, but most of them we can ride down in our kayaks. There are 15 travertine waterfalls on our way. The beginning and the end of the tour are full of action, while the middle section give us some peaceful paddling to enjoy the surroundings. The wild and amazing nature around the river, its waterfalls and differently-coloured pools make kayaking on Mreznica River a most interesting and intensive experience. After getting to the finish, we quickly drive you back to the base, where you can change into dry clothes.

Our tour from Čiča Bridge to Tržič Bridge, we will row for more than 5 km to cross 26 barriers and rapids, which is covering one third of the 93 tidal barriers of a total flow of 64 km of “turquoise karst beauty”. After a wide and spacious shallow stream we come to the magnificent Rončević waterfall. Immediately after Rončević’s waterfall, under the steep cliffs that formed a short gorge, the fascinating Milković Waterfall (8 m) is located, which takes the breath away from every visitor or seeker of the untouched. This is the second-largest waterfall on Mrežnica, flowing all the way to Smoljanović waterfall, i.e. the bridge in Tounjski Tržić. It is among the most beautiful waterfalls on Mrežnica, due to its form and the way it practically leads the water over a small “slide” formed in the middle of the waterfall, that is only notable during low water levels. It is precisely in this part, of only 1.2 km of flow, as many as 9 waterfalls were are squeezed in a narrow densely overgrown canyon, covered with white rocks, that only briefly lets sunlight in. In this part of the stream a powerful spring is located that in the summer reduces the temperature of Mrežnica for about 6-7°C. The influence of this spring is felt almost 5 kilometers downstream, which is evident in different vegetation along the river and waterfalls and other forms of sedentary phenomena. That’s where our karst adventure ends.

At Mrežnica you can enjoy our excursions for up to several days. It is usually sailed between Generalski Stol and Zvečaj, on the edge of the wilderness and civilization: it starts from the bridge in Keići and ends at the “DP” restaurant next to our Rafting Center. Swimming and conquering waterfalls are integral parts of the excursion. We use professional rafting boats with capacity for up to 10 people, each boat has an experienced guide-skipper in charge of training safety of the crew. There is also a waterproof bag or container (barrel) in the boat for waterproofing cameras and the like. Each participant gets the necessary equipment – helmet, paddle and protective vest, and in case of colder or windy time, additional protective equipment – neoprene suit, anorak. If it’s a kayak excursion we use hypalon kayaks RobFin – a model for two adults and one child. Kayaks are very stable and easy to use. Each group has one or two guides (depending on the size).
