The full-day trip begins with pick-up at your accommodation in Maputo. As you leave the city and head towards the coast, you’ll pass through wildlife areas and get the chance to spot elephants, wildebeest, zebras, and a wide variety of bird species. Once you get close to the Ponta do Ouro area, the roads start to turn into beach sand. Enjoy the impression of being on a tropical island as you drive through the jungle. Located close to the border with South Africa, the area of Ponta do Ouro is famous for its beaches, dolphins, and off-shore diving and fishing. Explore the area, walk along the beautiful beaches, and treat yourself to some freshly caught seafood. After lunch, consider bar hopping along the seafront and interacting with the friendly owners. The guide and driver very nice But it's a lot of travel for a short time on site It would be better to plan 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Also warn that on weekdays there are no diving activities to see dolphins etc.
