The tours were excellent, this was my 6th time here. Love the plantation and the grounds are beautiful. We were lucky enough to get Scotty about bus driver to and from the plantation again. He gave us so much local history on the area, he has awealth of knowledge. He gives ton recommendations of were and were not to eat and he did not disappoint us.

Loved that you could go at your own pace. Loved the Garden and crops tour. Jim did a fantastic job. Mansion tour was not as historical as hoped. The guide seemed much more interested in being funny than in bringing the facts/details of such a beautiful part of history, so well preserved, to the guests to appreciate.

The oak trees are amazing and worth the trip because you are not going to see them anywhere else. The performance by Jackie the Gullah was also amazing and informative. If you take the tour definitely see it. And the tractor ride because it gives you an overview of the plantation and it’s history. The food in the snack bar is pretty good too, especially the pulled pork.
