Seeing Mt Everest and the rest was an unforgettable once in a lifetime experience. We flew Yeti Air on Jan 1st & you could see Everest clear as day, not a cloud in the sky. Seating allowed to see the Himalayas on both sides, first half one side and then the plane turns the 2nd half for all to see. You can take photos through the windows clearly. The only thing is all flights on all airlines were delayed by 2 hrs bc they need a 2nd airport open in case of emergency (their rules)...so plan accordingly( flight might not leave till 10 am as in our case). Flight attendants were amazing explaining each peak and giving us a guide depicting each peak, with a certificate at the end signed by the pilot too. The flight was smooth, you didn't feel any turbulence. Our guide was extremely kind and patient, explaining what to expect at airport, picking us on time, he was ver professional & helpful. Don't leave Nepal wo this experience!

Full description

You will be picked up from your hotel in Kathmandu. After a short drive, you will reach the TIA from where the plane takes off. The mountain flight usually lasts from 50 minutes to an hour, and there are a variety of options for the flight times. During the flight, you can witness the bewitching beauty of the tallest Himalayas of the world including Everest, Gauri Shankar, and Langtang Lirung. A total of 20 mountain peaks are summoned in this Everest flight from Kathmandu. Starting from Langtang Lirung Peak to Everest and Chamlang Peak, you will get to explore everything from the air.
