Antonio is the perfect guide. He told us a lot about vulcanos in general and about Etna. Funny and informative! Perfectly prepared- spare rain jackets, hiking poles, baby wipes at the end- you will need it ;-) Amazing experience!!
This hiking tour to Etna was incredible. It was the best option if you are looking for a tour that is off the beaten path and DOES NOT include riding the cable car or obligates you to use another type of transportation that adds up 50 euro to the tour price. The hike was up to 2500 meters and I found it very easy, to compare it to other hikes around the world. Antonio was such an amazing guide.. on time, caring, funny, very attentive to anything we needed, told us about tons of things related to Etna and life in the Sicily Island. Try the local sandwiched for lunch, it was a great option (ask for the premium option, not just the basic ham and cheese haha). I loved it and enjoyed the tour a lot! Would definitely go again! :))
