Very positive experience. The very prepared guides met every difficulty expressed by the participants, some people had not read what kind of route they were going to do and practically gave up at the beginning, and a guide stayed with them to allow them to enjoy the experience anyway. . The distance in km is not much (about 6km in total), but the 600m difference in height and the lava soil do not make it a walk suitable for everyone. However, the staff provides each participant with poles and trekking shoes if they are not provided. I personally liked it very much☺️ Special thanks to Alessio, the guide who came to pick us up in Catania and was close to us throughout the excursion, motivating us even when fatigue made us waver

It's a beautiful hike - not too long or too hard. I was actually looking for a very difficult and long hike and while the tour didn't deliver on that front, the guides still made it worthwhile. Etna has breathtaking views, otherworldly flora and fauna, and offers a view into a world most of us will never have the pleasure to experience. If you're in the area I really recommend the tour. No equipment is needed as everything is provided.

Wonderful experience for those who like to hike. It takes a little effort to get to the top and then you are rewarded with an extremely sublime view. This was my first experience on a volcano - really to do if you are on the east coast of Sicily - it is surprisingly beautiful (the craters, the different reliefs...). The guides (4 in all) were all friendly, kind, and were keen to make us have a good time and teach us things. I highly recommend this version (7 hours) as well.
