Meet at the beautiful Mt Batur Lounge following the area pick-up time from your hotel (depending on option selected). Head to the Kintamani region to hike your way up Mount Batur. This iconic, extremely-active volcano draws many visitors from around the world with its beauty and promise of adventure.

From the top, experience a scenic sunrise view and the green caldera around the volcano. Witness a thick blanket of darkness be replaced by glistening orange and gold rays, bursting from the silhouette of Mount Agung with the glassy untouched sheen of Lake Batur.

As your descent begins, explore three younger craters while taking in the amazing volcanic landscape. Have an option to visit a coffee plantation site to enjoy a delicious cup of local Luwak coffee before heading back to your hotel.

Before and after your hike, enjoy the exclusive use of Mt. Batur Lounge, the only villa-style lounge around with clean, modern toilets and a comfortable shower facility. After refreshing yourself in the showers, enjoy a hot cup of tea or coffee in the lounge.

Der Ausflug war gutorganisiert und hatten eine super Sicht. Transfer hat gut geklappt. Das Frühstück war nicht gut, hätte man nicht gebraucht und wir haben uns gegen die Kaffeeplantage entschieden. Auch das muss nicht sein, die Wanderung und der Ausblick waren sehr schön.

Okay so prepare yourself, if cardio isn’t your thing (or if you’re a smoker/vaper) it’s definitely more challenging than is described to be, it’s a heavy continuous steep incline and takes around 2 hours - The guides however don’t struggle at all and make it look super easy :’) Bring water with you or cash to buy more on the way up! Personally found 1 small bottle was not enough. BUT all that said, once you reach the top, clear sky or cloud, it’s breathtaking and rewarding. Our drivers were lovely, so informative and friendly and our group guide was SO patient and helpful, offering a hand up, always standing in front on our way down; ready to catch any unsteady steps, a great photographer, shared so much history and facts about the volcano, the nature and the surrounds. Shared stories about himself and asked us all about ourselves. Such a lovely, kind and pleasant gentleman. Felt in safe hands. Definitely recommend booking the tour through GetYourGuide.
