Highly recommended if you enjoy exploring new countries and places, the drive is incredibly scenic but not for the faint hearted (take some anti sickness if this is usually an issue) The bus takes you down the windy coast and up over the mountains, our driver was fantastic and I drove well and safely. The drive there however was long and we were on the busy for at least 4 hours before the first stop and toilet break and 5 and a half before reaching our first destination. The journey back however was much quicker only 2 and a half hours back but this was out of season. We spent around 8 hours on the bus and the whole day was around 12 hours, so go prepared. Mostar and the waterfalls are definitely worth a visit and the cost of the trip along with price of food and drink in Mostar are much more reasonable than Croatia. It was one of the highlights of my holiday and think it’s worth the commute.
Transport was mini van for 8 people. Guide was great with knowledge. Small town visits so you need Cash card not taken anywhere but big restaurants. The waterfalls were beautiful as was the old town. Long day so be prepared to walk and spend! Great day trip and would recommend especially with Teo what an amazing guide he was, really friendly and helpful.
