Arusha/Moshi: Tarangire, Serengeti, & Ngorongoro 4-Day Tour

DAY 1: Arusha/Moshi to Tarangire National Park
Your adventure begins with a morning pickup from Arusha or Moshi. You’ll drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its huge elephant herds and towering baobab trees. The park is a hidden gem, often called the "elephant playground." As you journey through the park, you’ll have the opportunity to spot giraffes, lions, zebras, and various antelopes. After a picnic lunch in the afternoon, you’ll continue exploring before heading to your lodge or campsite for the night.

DAY 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you’ll depart for the legendary Serengeti National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The drive takes you through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you may spot Maasai herders with their cattle against the backdrop of the Great Rift Valley. Once you enter the Serengeti, you’ll be greeted by endless plains teeming with wildlife. The park is famous for its annual migration of over a million wildebeest and thousands of zebras. Enjoy an afternoon game drive, spotting lions, leopards, cheetahs, and more.

DAY 3: Half Game Drive Serengeti National Park
This day offers an extended opportunity to see the park’s wildlife up close. You may witness a lion pride on a hunt, cheetahs chasing prey, or even the elusive leopard resting on tree branches. The day will be packed with thrilling game drives in various parts of the park. In the late afternoon, return to your lodge or camp for a relaxing evening under the African stars.

DAY 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After breakfast, you’ll leave the Serengeti and head towards the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest inactive volcanic caldera. The crater is a haven for wildlife, including the endangered black rhino. You’ll descend into the crater floor for a half-day game drive, exploring its diverse habitats. After lunch, you’ll begin your drive back to Arusha, where your safari adventure ends.
