The Red Square is surrounded from one side by the red-brick wall of the Kremlin and on the other by the spectacular GUM building. GUM is a very particular place, a department store with all of the most famous luxury brands in it. it is classified as a national heritage site of Russia. Enjoy the Neo-Russian style interior and find out more about the history of the building. Hear how it hosted big communal apartments during the Soviet times.  Take a walk along the walls of Kremlin from the State Historical Museum to the famous mausoleum of Lenin, where your guide will tell you about the structure and the story of the Soviet necropolis. Located south of Red Square, next to the Moskova river embankment, is the Cathedral of Basil the Blessed. This is one of the most famous symbols in the Russian capital. An extraordinary building with 10 autonomous chapels, it was constructed in the middle of the 16th century after the great military victory of the army of Ivan the Terrible. Going from one chapel to another you will discover the real name of this religious monument as well as the history of Basil, under whose name the cathedral is known to the whole world.

    MARIA turned a seemingly simple must-see into a real experience and a real pleasure. Super friendly and with an exceptional knowledge of history, he gave us a lesson both in the square and especially in the Cathedral, ... it was about two hours, but it could be many more! MARIA, a 10!

    Ottimo servizio. La guida parlava un perfetto italiano ed era molto disponibile a rispondere a domande e a fare piccole deviazioni dal programma per rispondere a curiositá e interessi specifici. Un problema legato alla chiusura di San Basilio nel giorno inizialmente concordato è stato risolto via whatsapp mettendo a punto un nuovo appuntamento.
