After an introductory stand up paddleboard course from your qualified instructor on the Plage de Babin beach, head towards Macou Island while exploring the mangroves on the way. Thanks to the clarity of the water, enjoy exceptional views of the Caribbean marine life as your friendly guide provides interesting explanations. Learn why mangroves are such an essential ecosystem for Guadeloupe, acting as a nursery for marine life, as well as a filter and protection for the island itself. The excursion takes you through the mangrove forest in this protected area that is not accessible by boat. Enjoy privileged access as you see the different species living underwater such as multicolored fish, starfish, rays, crabs, and coral. See the colonies of pelicans, herons, and frigates perched in the mangroves and soaring overhead before returning back to Plage de Babin beach.

Va sido una experiencia estupenda. A la hora indicada nos estaba esperando. El equipo era muy bueno y adecuado para nuestro nivel. El monitor tenía amplios conocimientos sobre el SUP y sobre el ecosistema que íbamos a visitar. El comienzo de la ruta fuimos muy tranquilos y nos fue dando ideas para mejorar la técnica a cada cual según su nivel. Nos hizo un recorrido precioso y en calma por los manglares y nos tomábamos el tiempo para apreciar los detalles. Muchas gracias Mat por una excursión tan interesante.

Het was fantastisch! Een leuke activiteit in een prachtige omgeving. Een aanrader om op deze manier de mangrove te ontdekken. De gids deelde interessante informatie over het gebied en helpt je ook goed op weg met de sup. Uitleg in het Engels is ook mogelijk. Ik heb ontzettend genoten!

Absolute Empfehlung! Lilian war ein super Guide, der uns auf dem SUP gut begleitet hat. Die Tour ist sehr gut machbar auch für Greenhorns. Was wichtig ist, sind Sonnenschutz, also Mütze, dick Sonnencreme am besten auch ein Shirt. Lilian hat uns auch viel über die Natur in den Mangroven und den Klimawandel erklärt. Vor Ort hat alles gut geklappt.☀️
