Discover Moose Pass's pristine glacial Trail Lake at your own pace in a rented kayak. Take in the majestic mountain views around you and feel like a local as you paddle across the lake on your own.


Meet in the heart of Moose Pass, just 30 miles outside of Seward. After receiving your gear and a safety briefing, begin your solo kayak exploration of Trail Lake. Feel the cool breeze on your skin and the splash of cold water as you glide over the lake's mirror-like surface.


Explore this glacially fed lake at your own pace while taking in the incredible views of the Chugach Mountains. Soak up the surrounding nature from a unique perspective, immersed in the landscape.


Return to the dock to turn in your kayak and gear at the end of your rental time, and leave feeling more in tune with your surroundings than ever.

When you arrive in Moose Pass, park at Trail Lake Lodge, located at 33654 Depot Road. Please arrive early enough to head into Trail Lake Lodge or across the street to Estes Brother's Store to use the restroom, then meet us by the water's edge at the dock entrance behind Trail Lake Lodge.

We had a great afternoon on the lake and the kayak experience was awesome. Nature and the area around the lake are breathtaking. Jen took care of everything and explained the equipment to us before we started exploring on our own. We definitely recommend this activity!
