Full description
After check-in and a safety briefing, begin your half-day snorkeling adventure by setting sail to Mudjimba Island. Exit the calm waters of Mooloolaba River and sail for 15 minutes to the extraordinary dive site.
Expert guides will help set up your gear and get you ready for entry into the magical underwater world. You will have an in-water snorkel guide to assist you with your snorkeling skills and to show you some of the reef’s residents.
You will dive to a depth ranging between 5 to 14 meters. The locals of the reef include turtles, wobbegong sharks, rays, and nudibranchs. Spot many types of reef fish such as crayfish, cowrie shells, and corals.
You will have 2.5 hours at the site to snorkel and explore. Every snorkeling experience is different depending on the conditions on that day and time.
Between snorkels, you may choose to get back on the boat for a surface interval where you are provided snacks and water. Feel free to bring along your own snacks if you have allergies or would like more substantial food.

Please meet at Shop 11 - 12 at The Wharf Mooloolaba. Check in at the start time of your tour in order to receive your boarding pass. Allow plenty of time for parking.

Know before you go
- Children under 14 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all times
- Please ensure you are a competent swimmer before booking this experience as you will be snorkeling in the water
- You will be required to climb a ladder to get in and out of the water
- Please bring a letter from your doctor if you are on any medication that would prevent you from swimming or completing the tour (i.e. heart medication)
- Not suitable for women who are pregnant or trying to become pregnant
- Each diver must complete a Sunreef Snorkeler Waiver before snorkeling. This will also be sent out to you with your booking confirmation
