Our guide Cody was great. He gave us a lot of history regarding the Navajo people, showed us all the cool picture spots. He took some pictures of us, for us. We appreciated his Navajo traditional song he performed for us. His geology class on the formation of the monadnocks, using sand and water was very cool !
This was the most amazing tour I have been on! Richard is a Navajo man who was raised in monument valley. His knowledge and love for his land and culture were apparent from the first moments. We were the only tourists in the vehicle. It was amazing. Saw so much, learned so much and he was an entertainer to boot. The tour included the iconic rock formations but then other areas only tours have access to. The “back country”. Music, singing, art, crafts, and traditional culture. Was one of the highlights of our entire holiday thus far. If you get the chance - book this company and ask for Richard.
