We were lucky enough to be the only 2 people on the tour to Montserrat which made it more tailor made to what we wanted to see and do and we were also able to have a more leisurely pace versus being with a large group of people. We had Juan Pablo Marcotegui who was very knowledgable, and passionate about what we were seeing. He answered all our questions and was patient and accommodating when we strayed away to take pictures or wanted to see something else. The tour itself is amazing, we had perfect weather, and the views are spectacular. The cable car up the mountain was unique and something we hadn't done before. You have to have separate entry tickets to see the Black Madonna so make sure that is included in your tour or your guide is able to get tickets.

Jennifer was outstanding! She was very knowledgeable, patient, respectful and over the top helpful! We met her at the pick-up location and she lead us to the train. We had a very nice train ride to Montserrat and she told us about the countryside as we traveled through it. We rode the cable car up to the monastery. She explained all about the site. We walked around for a while, sampled some local cheeses and nuts. After a few more stops looking at more of the monastery, we had lunch. She brought very tasty sandwiches; we had some chips and warm drinks. Montserrat is such a beautiful and amazing place. You could easily spend a few days there seeing all there is to see. Highly recommended, good price, and if your fortunate enough to have Jennifer show you around, you are in for a great trip!!

We met our guide in Playa de España and went on a train out to Monserrat. Fred was awesome! He engaged the whole train ride, spoke to the history, of both the Monastery and the city. He reached out prior to ensure the lunch was great and met any dietary restrictions. The Monastery was beautiful and views were breathtaking. Seeing the La Moreneta was truly inspirational.
