Dive into Catalan culture with a visit to the mountain of Montserrat on a private guided tour, starting with a pickup from your hotel in Barcelona. Ride the funicular and get unparalleled views of the mountain landscapes. Upon arrival at Montserrat, begin your day by visiting the Benedictine Monastery and discover its amazing history.

Once you have visited the Benedictine monastery, get to Sant Joan Funicular and ride it up the mountain to experience breathtaking 360-degree views over the multi-peaked rocky range and the monastery. From here, see if you can spot Barcelona and the Pyrenees.

After admiring the magnificent landscapes, begin your descent back to the monastery. Choose to ride the Funicular back down or hike down, following a beautiful path around Montserrat unique rock formations. While back at the monastery, take some time to explore the farmers market. You can also listen to the famous Escolania de Montserrat choir sing on weekdays, except for public holidays (subject to the basilica's capacity).
