It’s worth noting that this is a shared trip and most of the group boards at Geneva, so depending on traffic it’s possible for the transport to arrive up to 30 minutes after the start time (this happened to us). Apart from this, our tour was excellent and we had a great guide. We loved the village of Gruyère and felt there was just enough time to explore. The visit to Maison Gruyère could have been a bit shorter though and would have given more time in the village. Our guide suggested that the right side of train was better for views, but personally I thought the left side was better for views of the mountains and countryside. Nonetheless this was a really excellent trip and I would recommend to anyone visiting Lausanne.

We had the 15 day pass and found it to be excellent value. It was so good not having to worry about purchasing tickets for most things. Once we arrived in Switzerland we found things to do that we wouldn’t have payed for if we didn’t have the pass. Highly recommended if you are doing lots of cable cars, hikes and funiculars.
