Full description
Whether you are a local or a first-time visitor, there is always more of Montreal to discover. Join a full-day tour to see the top sights and some hidden gems. Your guide will share local insights and point out all the sights as you traverse the city in the comfort of a climate-controlled vehicle.   Your tour begins with pickup from your downtown hotel before heading to Westmount where you can see upscale neighborhoods with signature houses and mansions. Then, visit Canada's largest basilica, St. Joseph’s Oratory. Marvel at scenic views of the city from atop Mount Royal. Journey through historic French neighborhoods and drive across Jacques Cartier Bridge to the site of the Expo 67 on St. Helen’s Island. Here, stop for a picture of the monumental Biosphere, a museum dedicated to the environment. Travel back toward the city, admiring the city skyline en route to Old Montreal. See the Notre-Dame Basilica and pause for lunch or souvenir shopping (at your own expense). Enjoy a short walk through Old Montreal to admire historic landmarks and sample some local products. Next up is Chinatown and the cultural district of the city, Quartier des Spectacles, in downtown Montreal. See the busy commercial district and pass by Mile End and try the famous Montreal Bagel. Stop in Little Italy and walk through Jean-Talon Market, the city's largest farmer's market. Your city adventure ends with a visit to Le Plateau Mount-Royal.

Our guide Fran gets the highest rating for her in-depth knowledge of the places we visited, for her punctuality, attentiveness to our comfort and for making sure we all returned to our homes safely. All in all, the tour was a great experience that I will always remember Montreal by. Thank you Fran!
