What people are saying about Montevideo
Was sent a message by driver to say one act was cancelled and therefore pick-up was one hour later than the scheduled time. Driver Martin drops off at venue and hands a ticket. He didn't speak much english. He tells the time he will return to pick up after the show (12:15am). He was there. The show was very entertaining even if I did not understand the language. A good and fun experience
Nice little tour out of town for the day. well worth buying the add-on tickets for Casa Pueblo to skip the queue. Plenty of time in Punta Del Este to walk around and have a meal. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. Our guide was great (we travelled on the 9th February) - didn't catch his name, but please thank him for a great tour, and for letting me try his tea - Caleb & Mark (London)
The tour was good but 2hrs 50minutes was too long for lunchtime break. An hour less would have been long enough. Maybe a bit more time to wander around the older part ofmothers the town. Also I paid for my ticket to visit Casa Mueblo in advance but had to pay again on entry as the guide did not have the tickets. She did however refund my payment.
Good wine tasting experience, particularly the nice driver Ricardo who spoke good English. However, we didn't always know what we could do and see around the estate. Lovely old motor cars in the tasting area. We speak very little or no Spanish and found it difficult to fully understand what was being said to us.
Good commentary from guide with interesting stops particularly the famous artist’s house. Weather was not good for our tour but, that cannot be controlled! Overall a good experience!
