Activity was great and guide is knowledgeable. Lots of people want to get pictures of the animals and this seems to be focus but for us we just wanted to see it and keep moving so i think in the future could assess the crowd a bit more. We found ourselves waiting around a bit but overall great experience

Full description

The adventurous experience starts right after the sunset, once the forest is dark. Explore the nocturnal activity of the forest. We do a short meet and greet before heading off to the trails. We also provide flashlights and safety advices and recommendations to be safe and comfortable during the tour. Optical gear is provided (spotting scope) With the help of your guide we explore the best hotspots in the forest to find the nocturnal creatures that we mostly see in day time. More variety of creatures at night. Around 80-85% of the Costa Rican fauna is nocturnal, definitely the odds are on our side. Keep in mind that nature is unpredictable, but we do our best to interact with our people and to provide a high quality and fun experience regardless of what we end up seeing. We invite everyone who wants to have fun, explore and enjoy nature with the help of a local expert. We do small groups for quality service and we also have private tour options, which is best if you are looking for exclusive experience.

This was the highlight of almost all members on my trip here in Monteverde! We had Johnny as our guide who was extremely passionate about his job and sharing knowledge and native animals for us to see. It’s great to have a guide like Johnny as all of us would not have been able to spot these animals without him! We were able to see a mother and baby sloth, two vipers, an opossum, and many other incredible species.
