Full description

Take a wine tour of California's Monterey County, one of the largest premium grape producers in the state. Learn about local Carmel Valley wine production and taste some excellent wines.

Get picked up from your local hotel (Monterey Peninsula hotels only) and listen to some interesting commentary on your way out to Carmel Valley Village

Admire the beautiful Californian landscape as you tour a local vineyard. Let your guide teach you about Monterey and its history of wine production. Visit several different wine tasting rooms for your chance to try 4 or 5 different wines at each.

Enjoy a convenient drop-off at your local accommodations after the tour.

  • * If there are 3 or fewer passengers on the tour, there will be a $40 fuel surcharge payable directly to the tour operator on the day of your tour.
  • * Advise for solo travelers: All tours require a minimum of two guests to run. If you book a tour and you are the only guest, there is an excellent chance that your tour will cancel and you will be issued a refund.
  • * We only pick up in the Monterey Peninsula area. No pick ups in San Jose or San Francisco!

Evan was an excellent guide for our wine tasting experience! He offered us a great selection of local winerys that were unique to the area and perfect tasting options for each vineyard. We also learned a lot about the vineyard business in addition to wine tasting tips! Definitely a great idea if you want to get to know some new things about your favorite wine varieties and enjoy the valley!

I would highly recommend this tour. Our group of friends did the 3 hour wine tour and it was excellent. Evan picked us up at our hotel in Carmel and we visited a vineyard and two winery tasting rooms. Evan knows the area well and pointed out many interesting details as we drove. His agricultural knowledge informed us and his easy and kind personality contributed to a fun filled adventure. Even if you have been to Carmel often you will likely learn something new and see the area in a different way.

Evan was amazing and we learned so much from him. Very personable and a lot of fun! There were unfortunately some traffic issues that inhibited our last stop on the tour, but Evan was very flexible and made real time decisions that made the rest of our afternoon more than worth it! Would definitely recommend and consider touring with him again if we are ever back in the region!
