Amazing. It is best to check when the whales are migrating and we came at the right time. The guides were funny and informative and made the experience great. We saw dolphins, a Minke Whale, tons of sea lions and of course Humpback Whales. We saw one breach twice coming back and it was as magical and marvellous as we could’ve hoped for. The tour ran later than expected and because there weren’t enough people in the morning they changed our time. This worked out because less people meant we all got amazing views on the boat and because we took our time to spot whales we saw the Humpback Whale jump out of the water. So give yourselves time in your day to complete the activity and to accommodate delays. The area is also lovely to explore. Overall 100% recommend. :)
What an amazing whale tour! We got super lucky and saw over 20 whales and a mega raft of seals. I got super sick and the crew could not have been more helpful. They gave me handfuls of ginger candy that helped me so much and checked on me. Our biologist Maddy was so knowledgeable and conveyed so much info in a fun way that wasn’t annoying at all. We loved it so much, I’ll forget being sick, but remember the whales, wildlife and fun new animal facts forever!
